"on the way to work" @ 737 cockpit in the skies.its been more than a week flight MH370 has disappeared. i know its big news everywhere in the world and tons of conspiracy theories are popping up; from hijacking to investigating flight crew. honestly it makes me sick to the stomach reading any news about it because i like the media’s just playing up any goss they can find.one things for sure, and i am embarrassed to say, is how it exposes how vulnerable our military air defence is in the region. Even with the transponders turned off, this huge piece of metal would show up on air space radars unidentified and noone takes action?either way, praying hard for something soon. it is disheartening to imagine how much torture the famililes and friends must be going through awaiting for any news. #prayformh370 #mh370this pic was taken inside the cockpit a while ago. its a big no no in terms of aircraft security but the sunset was too beautiful. as cabin crew we are encouraged to sit and just ‘chat’ with the flight deck from time to time just to get to know one another for safety reasons again. i do enjoy my time in there very much albeit such a cramped space. we’ve had many nice close views and encounters, like reaching out to almost touching the himalayas or watchin the sun set over the mauritian beach resorts =)

"Nighty night" @ St Mark’s Church, Zagreb, Croatia.

Ah, been so busy lately that i’ve neglecting on sleep. Thus when i met up recently with a friend after 2 months, the first thing he noticed was the dark eye bags. =(
Saint Mark’s is a Romanesque turned Gothic church in the capital of  Croatia. The roof tiles are laid to represent the coat of arms of Zagreb. I find them so pretty, alike a warm quilt hmmm

'Drive Thru' @ Space Needle, Seattle, USA.
Seattle has got to be one of my favourite cities in the world. It has such an amazing musical scene; birthplace of Jimi Hendrix and alternative rock music, it was also the beginning of many legendary musician’s careers like Ray Charles, Nirvana, Pearl Jam etc.
The space needle is a particular symbol for the city. Built in the 1960s, its clear how it contributes to the retro-futurism ideology of the era. When i’m not hiding in OMA’s library or exploring Gehry’s Rock & Roll Museum next door, I like to lie on the park below and stare at this giant UFO of a masterpiece.

'The Dali Parade' @ Montmarte, Paris.
The Montmarte District north of Paris is particularly famous for its white domed Basilica Sacre Coeur, its somewhat sleazy nightclubs and the prominent arts community during the 19th century. Monet, Picasso, van Gogh to name a few. It also houses the largest permanent collection of surrealist Salvador Dali’s sculpture. I particularly enjoy Dali’s bizarre mind; with elephants of spindly fragile legs being a recurring theme. Some of the discussion is that while the elephants symbolised strength and moving on achieveing greater heights, man would always be shackled to the ground. -___- wow so deep

'Hmm Banana' @ Batu Caves, Malaysia.
I’m sure monkeys have alot to contemplate as well.
Happy thaipusam! Thaipusam is a Hindu festival celebrated by the Tamil community, across countries like in India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Mauritius, Singapore etc just to name a few. Here in malaysia it attracts millions of devotees n tourists alike where the procession starts in KL travelling 15 km to the temple in Batu Caves, often an 8 hour journey. Recently I had the chance to be the tour guide to a dear friend who came for a visit and got some really nice photos of the mischievous monkeys the site is famous for. I highly recommend the Dark Cave tour to see the natural beauty of this limestone cave.

'Joyride' @ Daisen Park, Osaka, Japan.
Photo by @ganjunqi. You can’t say you’ve seen japan until u see a bear mascot riding a bike. Kumamon representing Kumamoto Prefecture is Japan’s #1 mascot as voted by the people. I know Osaka’s in a different prefecture but he’s so charming he might as well be Japan’s official mascot.
